Community Guidelines

Server Rules

Please read these guidelines carefully. Our goal is to keep DayDreamerMC a fun and welcoming place for everyone.

Zero Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for violations of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. Severe violations result in an immediate, permanent ban with no warnings.

General Conduct

  • Respect everyone. Treat all members and staff with kindness and maturity.
  • Follow staff instructions. Staff decisions are final.
  • No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, racial slurs, or excessive swearing.
  • No NSFW or inappropriate content — including usernames, profile pictures, and messages.
  • No political or controversial discussions.

Communication & Behavior

  • Use the correct channels. Keep discussions in their appropriate chats.
  • No spam or excessive pinging. Do not flood chats or mass tag users.
  • Do not ping @DayDreamerMC or any administrator, including reply pings.
  • English only. Communicate in English so everyone can understand.
  • No impersonation of members, staff, creators, or banned players.
  • Do not bring drama from other communities into DayDreamerMC.

Content & Promotion

  • No advertising or self-promotion without staff approval.
  • Do not share malicious, suspicious, or pirated links.
  • No copying or spamming suggestions. Submit only original ideas.
  • Keep criticism constructive. Do not publicly insult or expose others' content.

Cheating & Fair Play

  • No hacked clients, cheats, macros, scripts, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics is prohibited.
  • No X-ray, Freecam, Auto Clickers, Reach, Kill Aura, or any unfair advantage.
  • No stream sniping, ghosting, or using outside information to gain advantage.
  • Account sharing during events is not allowed.
  • If you discover an exploit, report it to staff instead of abusing it.

Privacy & Security

  • Do not share personal information or private messages without consent.
  • Ban evasion is strictly prohibited. Alternate accounts to avoid punishment = permanent ban.
  • Intentionally pretending to be a banned player will be treated as ban evasion.
  • Use common sense — harmful or disruptive behavior may still result in punishment.

Support

  • Don't waste staff time with joke or duplicate support tickets.
  • Open a legitimate support ticket instead of repeatedly messaging staff.

Punishments & Jurisdiction

  • We generally do not punish actions outside our community unless they directly impact DayDreamerMC.
  • We may act on inappropriate DMs if they are highly offensive, sexual, or threatening.
  • All major infractions are recorded, including relevant external incidents.

Staff Discretion

  • Not every situation can be covered by written rules.
  • Staff reserve the right to take appropriate action to maintain a safe, fair, and enjoyable community.

Partnerships

  • When in partnered events or communities, follow their rules as well as ours.
  • Treat all members and staff from partnered communities with respect.
  • Joining DayDreamerMC events on alternate accounts is strictly prohibited.
  • Attempting to evade an event blacklist results in a permanent blacklist from all main events.
